Nancy Meister, an Atlanta Public Schools Board member, recently told the Northerner,

“I have learned that the person to whom the administration had made an offer for the principal’s position at North Atlanta High School has declined in lieu of another position which was created for him in response to their offer.”

As of now, it is believed that Richardson was offered another position within New York’s public schools. Meister  comments,

“My belief is that it [the offer] came from the candidate’s current system.”

The Northerner will follow the search for the new principal as it develops and is confirmed.
