A Message from the Editor in Chief
A big thank you to everyone who has helped make the Northerner what it is today, including all of our Contributors and Editors, Advisor Andre Regan, and SLC Academy Leader Laura Brazil for their work, counsel and encouragement.
In less than one school year, the Northerner has grown to well over a thousand readers per month, providing a new type of coverage rarely seen (at any school) through the power of the internet.
With North Atlanta’s Global Broadcasting and Journalism SLC growing and expanding, we are all excited to see where The Northerner, and North Atlanta’s other news outlets will go in the 2012-2013 school year.
In order to ensure that the Northerner continues well past my tenure at North Atlanta, GBJ sophomore Elizabeth Ray will be taking over the reigns as Editor in Chief.
Thanks for your support, and we will begin publishing regularly again in August.

You have done a tremendous job as editor of the Northerner. I am so proud of this publication and will continue to read and stay connected to North Atlanta by regularly reading the newspaper. I also look forward to following your successes both in and out of the classroom. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you this year.
