John Diamond Speaks to ‘Most Improved’ Award Winners at Chick-fil-A Lunch and Learn

Chick-fil-A’s Howell Mill Operator John Diamond visited North Atlanta on Thursday to speak to “Most Improved” Students at North Atlanta about his story, time at Chick-fil-A, and definition of success in the real world.

The talk included Chick-fil-A’s history, Diamond’s history with the popular food chain and what it takes to work effectively, with a focus on his experiences. Mr. Diamond has been extremely gracious with his time at North Atlanta in the past.

“I love coming to talk to students at North Atlanta High School,” said Diamond.

One of the bigger messages at the luncheon was that of influence. Diamond exclaimed that the influence you have on your team and others around you could be a determining factor in how far you advance with your job. ”It’s all about having a positive influence,” Diamond said during his talk.

He also made the point that Chick-fil-A is a big supporter of hiring high school and college students. “Part of that [team’s] talent is having young talent, fresh ideas, you know here you are holding that phone recorder; that might not come across an older talent’s mind. So yes we are always looking for younger people to come on our team to bring that talent,” he said.
